Why is eyecare important?

Besides helping you see better, routine eye exams can detect a number of serious health conditions, such as glaucoma, cataracts and diabetes. Plus, eye exams for kids can spot problems that can impact learning and development.

Where is VSP's Choice Access Plan available?

The plan is available nationwide except for Montana and Vermont.

How long does it take before I am an active member in the plan?

Your plan is typically effective following receipt of your completed application and payment. Please refer to your ID card for your actual effective date.

How do I use the vision plan?

Using your plan is easy.
  1. To locate a participating VSP doctor, click here or call the number on your ID card.
  2. Show your ID card at the time of your visit to receive your discount.
  3. At your appointment, identify yourself as a VSP Choice Access Plan member and present your ID card. Your doctor and VSP will handle the rest.

Do I need an ID card to get services?

Yes, your VSP Choice Access ID card is required. If you need services before you receive your ID card, you may contact your group for more information.

How do I re-order a replacement ID card?

Please refer to your group to re-order a replacement ID card.

How do I access my plan and eligibility information?

As a VSP member, visit vspchoiceaccess.com or call the number listed on your ID card for personalized vision plan information.

Can I see any VSP doctor?

As a VSP member, you can see any one of our 22,000 doctors nationwide. VSP doctors are located right where you need them - close to work, home and shopping centers. Most doctors offer evening and weekend hours.
