Member Service Representative

Job Title: Member Service Representative


The right candidate for this position will be responsible for providing high quality customer service to incoming calls, responding to a broad range of consumer inquiries and selling various Careington plans. Bilingual (Spanish) representatives are needed and highly encouraged to apply.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming customer service telephone calls in a friendly, professional manner and provide accurate and prompt responses to inquiries regarding discount products, pricing and provider searches.
  • Identify opportunities to, sell, up-sell and cross-sell Careington's products.
  • Provide problem identification and resolution, with proper escalation of calls as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
  • This position requires regular, predictable attendance.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to handle 100+ calls per day with a professional phone manner and have the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be a team player.
  • A good understanding of quality customer service principles is necessary for this position.
  • Must be flexible and able to work any hours between 7:00am – 7:00pm Monday through Friday.

Education, Experience & Software:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred but not required.
  • Must have at least six months of high-volume inbound customer service experience.
  • A solid sales background with inbound calls will be a plus.
  • Good computer skills and experience with MS Applications - Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

Bilingual Member Service Representative
 
Job Title: Bilingual Member Service Representative

This position is responsible for providing high quality customer service to incoming calls, responding to a broad range of consumer inquiries and selling various Careington plans.

The perfect candidate for this position will be able to fluently speak, read and write in both Spanish and English, and have a successful and proven leadership background in an in-bound call center.

Do you like to sleep late and avoid rush hour traffic? Then this position is for you - the permanent hours are 10:00am - 7:00pm, Monday through Friday.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming customer service telephone calls in a friendly, professional manner and provide accurate and prompt responses to inquiries regarding discount products, pricing and provider searches.
  • Identify opportunities to, sell, up-sell and cross-sell Careington's products.
  • Provide advanced problem identification and resolution, with the ability to take escalated calls as needed.
  • Coach member service representatives on proper procedures, processes and customer changes.
  • Train, motivate and develop representatives to reach goals and ensure that overall department goals are met.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
  • This position requires regular, predictable attendance.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Must be able to handle 100+ calls per day with a professional phone manner and have the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be able to encourage and develop member service representatives.
  • A good understanding of quality customer service principles is necessary for this position.
  • Must be able to permanently work the 10:00am – 7:00pm shift.

Sales Associate
 
Job Title: Sales Associate


We are seeking an outgoing, self motivated and success-driven Sales Associate for the Direct Marketing department. The purpose of this position will be to plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities, so as to develop sales of dental and other products to businesses and individuals, in accordance with agreed business plans. The principal sales method will be outbound telemarketing with a focus on retail business.


General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound phone calls to businesses, agents (both existing & new), retention calls and wholesale clients.
  • Answer inbound sales calls as well as insurance enrollments.
  • Give presentations to potential clients locally.
  • Develop ideas for direct mail and marketing (sales pieces, advertising, premiums, and telemarketing scripts).

Requirements Include:

  • Good understanding of outbound telemarketing.
  • Must be able to handle 80 plus calls per day.
  • Must maintain an acceptable Close Ratio on inbound calls.
  • Must be able to actively manage their accounts and Agents.
  • Must be able to pass insurance license examination.

Skills Include:

  • Solid sales and phone background.
  • Basic computer skills.

Education:

  • High school graduate
