Is this an insurance plan?

No, this is not an insurance plan. Our savings plans provide you with discounted prices on a wide range of dental care services and products; you will pay for services at the discounted price at the time services are received.

How does a savings plan work?

First, you can find participating dentists by using the "Dentist Search" page on this website or by calling 1-800-441-0380 Ext 2911 . After confirming the dentist's continued participation when making an appointment, members just show their membership card at the time of service. Members are responsible for paying all fees directly to the dentist.

Can I use my membership when I travel away from home?

Yes, your membership can be used at any participating dentist in the United States.

What dentist can I go to?

You can find participating dentists for the savings plan by visiting the "Provider Search" Web page on this website or calling 1-800-441-0380 Ext 2911 .

How can I get additional membership cards?

If you need additional cards for your household, or have lost your card, please call Member Services at 1-800-441-0380 Ext 2911 . We will be happy to send additional cards to you.

Can I go to a dentist that does not participate?

You may go to the dentist of your choice; however, you will only receive a discount by going to a participating dentist.

If my dentist refers me to a specialist who is not in the network, do I still get a discount?

You will only receive a discount by going to a participating provider. You might try printing out a list of participating providers to share with your dentist to see if he/she could recommend any of the participating specialist locations.

What if I feel the dentist overcharged me?

You can send a copy of your bill and a written letter to the administrator of the plan, Careington International Corporation, Attn: Provider Relations, P.O. Box 2568, Frisco, TX 75034. They will investigate your inquiry, and you will be contacted regarding the findings.

How will my purchase appear on my credit card statement?

Your statement will have a charge from "Careington International" for the purchase amount of your plan.

What if I have a complaint about a dentist?

Please submit all issues in writing, including a copy of your bill. You may fax them to 1-800-247-4450, or you may mail them to Careington International Corporation, Attention: Member Services, 7400 Gaylord Pkwy, Frisco, Texas, 75034. Call Member Services at 1-800-441-0380 Ext 2911 for assistance.

Once I select a dentist, am I assigned to that dentist? How often can I change dentists?

Another great feature of the savings plan is your ability to select any dentist from the network. You can change dentists at any time, and household members can select their own dentist. Call Member Services at 1-800-441-0380 Ext 2911 for help finding participating dentists.

What should I say when I call a dentist to make sure they participate?

The dentist will recognize the name of the network with which they participate, so when you call, it is important to use the name of the correct network.

How to Use Your Savings Plan

It's easy to use your savings plan. Once you have joined the plan and received your membership kit, simply follow these directions and start using your membership card today! (Some discounts will have specific directions on how to use. Please review your membership kit for details.)

Step 1

Keep your membership card with you at all times so it will be easily accessible to present at provider locations. You must present your membership card at the time of service to receive a discount.

Step 2

To locate and verify participating providers in your area, simply call Member Services at 1-800-441-0380 Ext 2911 . When calling to schedule an appointment, please refer to your membership card for proper network identification when speaking to a participating provider's office.

Step 3

You are responsible for paying the provider the entire discounted fee at the time the service is provided.
